Race Thoughts
I think the reason that dog racing is not as popular as NASCAR racing is that it's really hard to stick a Dodge-360 CID small block V8 into a greyhound without adversely affecting the greyhound's performance.

Yeah, but come on.. you can bet on dog racing. I figure racing in general is a betting sport so they should have betting windows at all NASCAR events. You could bet the win, the place, show, trifecta, you name it.. but then they'd have bets for how many cars get damaged enough not to finish the race, how much $ in medical bills the biggest crash causes.
It's already the biggest sport anyway, why not push the limits?
